A 'mashup' tribute to the great Virgilio 'Babe' Simoni.

One of my biggest influences in guitar design, Babe made a name for himself in the 1960s creating new guitar models by repurposing bodies and necks of different models and frankensteining them into something unique and ahead of their time.

We took Babe's philosophy and applied it to his own mashup designs to create the Daytripper. That makes this design a mashup of two different mashups, which were themselves sort of mashups or redesigns of other models.. Is that meta enough for you?
